After the recent hearing on May 12, 2023, where the matter was called out and heard, the Court passed an order directing all defaulting states to constitute District Level Committees (DLC) in every district by June 30. They've also listed the petition for July 17. This is a significant step in ensuring compliance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016. Togetherwecan has been relentlessly working towards this goal, and it's heartening to see the right support system in place every time there's a setback. It's disheartening that Kerala, despite being the base of Togetherwecan, is listed as a defaulting state.
