#AUTISM_PRIDE_DAY on June 18th is a day to celebrate the uniqueness and talents of individuals with autism. It's an honor to be part of the Autism Club's celebrations in Ernakulam. On this special day, we also recognize the remarkable Sherin, a 15-year-old non-verbal and autistic child prodigy who expresses herself through poetry. Sherin received the National Trust award in 2017 for "Autistic Marvels" due to her creative writings, which were published on her website, www.musingsofsher.in, until March 2017. One of Sherin's beautiful poems, titled "#EARTH_A_MEMORY," captures the essence of our planet's natural beauty and the consequences of our actions. It serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of preserving our environment and cherishing the Earth. In a world filled with technological advancements and distant horizons, Sherin's words bring us back to Earth, encouraging us to appreciate the green and blue memories we've created. Her poem reflects on the beauty of our planet, the life it sustains, and the responsibility we have to protect it. Sherin's creativity and insight inspire us to reflect on our relationship with the Earth and the need to safeguard it for future generations. This Autism Pride Day, let's celebrate Sherin's talents and the unique perspectives that individuals with autism bring to the world.
