disruptions in childhood and education

December 16, 2020

Finally, after an entire year of witnessing disruptions in childhood and education, I'm relieved to see some common sense prevailing. This is precisely what we've been advocating for over the years. Schools often conveniently laid the blame on CBSE or other board guidelines when, in reality, there was nothing mandating these live classes. The way this situation was handled was far from ideal, and it resulted in the widespread circulation of videos and photographs of children on the internet. Consequently, we've seen a rise in issues like cybercrimes, pornography, cyberbullying, addiction, aggression, depression, and more.   Now that the damage has been done to our children, teachers, and parents, it's high time we start seeking solutions. I truly hope that this period of upheaval has educated us all about the need for change and better practices in education.   For more details, you can read the following article: [Link to The Hindu Article](https://www.thehindu.com/.../making.../article33339025.ece)
