guidelines for therapy centers that cater to individuals with special needs and autism

July 12, 2019

Congratulations to Kerala for taking the lead in framing guidelines for therapy centers that cater to individuals with special needs and autism! This is a significant step toward providing comprehensive quality care and services to those in need. The efforts and dedication of various individuals and organizations, including The New Indian Express, Together We Can, and many others, have made this achievement possible.   The new guidelines, which will be issued under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, will help regulate therapy centers, ensuring they meet minimum standards for registration. This move is a testament to the commitment of Kerala to improve the quality of life for people with special needs and autism.   The collaborative approach that involved parents, professionals, government officials, and organizations is truly commendable. It's heartening to see that parents' concerns and the need for regulation have been addressed, and these guidelines will pave the way for better care and support for individuals with disabilities.   Kudos to all those who played a part in making this happen, and special thanks to Sudha Nambudiri of Times of India for her comprehensive coverage of the issue. Kerala's initiative sets a positive example and demonstrates the power of collective action and advocacy. 🙌🌟 #TogetherWeCan #GuidelinesForTherapyCenters #KeralaLeadingTheWay
