Open Conversations ; Sunday Morning Reflections

June 15, 2025

Sunday Morning Reflections : Where the tea was strong, the roads were flooded, and clarity found its way through rain, potholes, and tangled thoughts.
This morning began with a big, bold cup of adrak chai, not just a drink, but a warm embrace to the soul. The kind of chai that doesn't just wake you up, it grounds you. Across the table, my friend had her own delicate glass, just one sip, yet equally sacred. Her portion, my portion, different in size, but shared in intention.
A quiet reminder: nourishment doesn’t need to look the same to be real.
As the city braved an orange alert, with water weaving unpredictable paths across the roads, we too navigated the landscapes of the mind, the clutter, the noise, the stuckness. Our conversation was the umbrella in the storm, part reflective pause, part creative ignition.
Right there, on top of the *Sunday Times*, we layered our own headlines, not of politics or pain, but of presence. What we brewed together wasn’t just tea, it was an idea. Something beautiful is coming soon...
Between sips, we spoke of masks, not the pandemic kind, but the ones we unknowingly wear. Of how one once mistook self-care masks for Halloween ones, and how far we’ve come in seeing through the layers...
Because here’s the thing:
-Some days, your cup is full to the brim.
-Some days, it’s just a sip.
But when you sit across someone who truly sees you, not for how much you hold, but how honestly you share, there’s grounding, no matter what the news carries.
The world outside was wet, messy, and uncertain.
But inside, clarity had quietly arrived.
A heartfelt announcement is brewing. Stay tuned.
Until then, may your Sunday be as steeped in warmth as your chai. 💛
