I had the incredible opportunity to present our ongoing research on the Empowerment of mothers of children with Autism at the Dutch Global Mental Health Research Network (ALTHEA). It was an honor to share our work with a group of experienced experts in the field of research and practice and receive their valuable feedback. I can't help but express my deep gratitude for the mothers who willingly participated in our research without any expectations, driven by a strong belief that together, we can make a difference. Their conviction is truly inspiring, and I'm humbled by their support. I must admit, I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually loving my research studies! The focus on empowering mothers and the potential impact it can have on their lives and their children's lives is incredibly motivating. Our work is on their page, and this recognition has left me completely humbled. I'd like to give a big shout out to all those who have been a part of this journey. We have come a long way, and I'm tempted to share this with a particular group, but my experiences at Vrije University's Athena Institute have taught me to understand different perspectives and be forgiving.
