#SUBMITTED!!!! In a moment filled with gratitude, I reflect on the significance of this day, April 14, 2021, at 17:38. Looking back: - In 2015, a child's arm was broken at a therapy center under mysterious circumstances. This prompted a decision not to tolerate such situations any longer. Together with like-minded mothers, we filed petitions with various authorities. - In 2016, we engaged with a variety of stakeholders, including The Banyan Academy of Mental Health and Leadership in Chennai and Vrije University Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Discussions were held on how to address the complexity of the problem. - 2017 was a challenging year. Our Public Interest Litigation faced ridicule and criticism from all sides, pushing us to the brink. We were tired of having our intentions questioned by parents, professionals, and nearly everyone. - 2018 marked a significant shift as I formally registered with VU Amsterdam as an external Ph.D. student, transitioning from an activist to a researcher. - In 2019, I embarked on intensive coursework and realized a dream by visiting the Netherlands. - 2020 brought crisis, confusion, and a change of plans, but I received steadfast support from my mentors. - And now, in 2021, the news brings joy: Article 1 has been submitted, and Articles 2, 3, and 4 are nearly there, with Article 5 reaching the final phase. It's evident that 2021 has been a year of significant progress. I extend my sincere thanks for the support and kindness I've received throughout this journey.
